Minutes of the Meeting of the Cortland County IDA
Secretary John Shirley called a meeting of the Cortland County Industrial Development Agency to order at 12:07 p.m. on Monday, May 9, 2011 at 37 Church Street, Conference Room, Cortland, NY.
ROLL CALL AND CALL TO ORDER
The following members were present:

- Sandy Griep, Office Manager
- John Sidd, Counsel

- Bob Haight, Chamber of Commerce
- Anthony Borrelli, Cortland Standard
- Eric Mulvahill, WXHC Radio
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES
April minutes were approved.
CORRESPONDENCE
Correspondence was reviewed as enclosed in the board books.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
John Shirley made a motion to conduct an executive session for the purpose of considering the proposed sale or lease of real property as publicity could substantially affect the value thereof. The motion was seconded and approved unanimously. The acting chairman asked that BDC members, staff and Chamber Director Bob Haight to stay.
The regular meeting was reconvened at 12:24 pm. No action was taken.
OLD BUSINESS
International Electron Devises (IED) property – Garry reported to the board that he has been speaking with various people regarding the status of the former Buckbee Mears facility. We will work with the City moving forward.
NEW BUSINESS
Extension of sales tax agreement – Cortland Plastics - Extension was approved.
