Minutes of the "Special" Meeting of the Cortland County IDA
Chairman Paul Slowey called the “Special” Meeting of the Cortland County Industrial Development Agency to order at 12:09 pm. on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at the BDC/IDA office, 37 Church Street, Cortland, New York 13045.
ROLL CALL AND CALL TO ORDER
The following members were present:

- John Reagan
- Frank Suits, Jr.

The following staff were present:
- Tom Gillson, Executive Director
- Sandy Griep, Office Manager
- John Sidd, Counsel
NEW BUSINESS
The “Special Meeting” was called to authorize the Executive Director, Tom Gillson to proceed with exercising the Option Agreement with Dick Osbeck for the Finger Lakes Business Park.
Tom Gillson briefed the board on the recent events leading up to this meeting, stating that he had received all proper signed documents from Monarch that would allow him to proceed with purchasing the Osbeck Property.
The motion was made by Paul Slowey and seconded by Frank Suits, all were in favor, none opposed. The motion was carried. Tom Gillson will be writing a letter to Mr. Osbeck stating the IDA’s intention of moving forward with purchasing his property for the Finger Lakes East Business Park.
ADJOURN
On a motion made by Paul Slowey, seconded by Mike McMahon, the “Special” IDA meeting was adjourned at 12:11 pm.
